April in the Lessel Home
Geoffrey \"chaperoned\" for a high school student film festival trip to Kentucky recently in order to get ideas and make connections...and hang out with Brett.
Obviously more than just film-watching happened on this high school trip.
Geoffrey is planning a community-wide student film festival for next year, which we believe will be a big ordeal around here.
It was good PR for him to have the opportunity to see what is currently available to film-making students and rub shoulders with some of the students and teachers.
Back at home, Olivia helped us wash our cars one beautiful sunny Saturday.
It\'s funny how you can own three white cars, yet forget how bright white really is under all that dirt!
We\'ve been doing a little yard work. Okay, so this is just Geo having fun on our friends\' farm, but really we have been doing a little yard work.
Geoffrey has been experimenting with his new tea pot he got for his birthday...the kind you put actual tea leaves in...none of those sissy bags.
Olivia and I have had fun hanging out together. This photo was after our first walk with the Snugli-thing. She seemed to enjoy it. My shoulders couldn\'t take too much, though!
Kelly (I) have been working on some paintings I\'m going to try to sell in our church\'s EXPRESS festival for artists. This is one I painted a couple years ago post-Peru, and the can is just for size comparison.
This is another one I finished a couple years ago, just pulling it back out to see if I can brighten someone\'s wall while filling my wallet a little fuller.
This is a series of three I obviously haven\'t finished. They are representitive of my priorities: people, relationship with God, and the third will be family.
Greeting cards - Olivia and I are having fun doing art projects together. Well, I\'m not sure she enjoys me stamping her foot down with paint on it over and over, but she\'ll appreciate it later.
The Foundry, which is the High School ministry at our church, is having a sports day soon. Geo took some awesome photos as backdrops to the best flyers I\'ve ever seen him create.
Another photo for the flyers. There are three different versions of the flyer, using these three pics. So cool.
This is Geo\'s favorite edition. I told him he should sell these as stock photos, they\'re so good. Way to go Geo!
